One of my partners was able to agree on a partnership deal with a large company but we have have to pull off a pilot test in the next 5 days. This is nothing short of a miracle simply because we’re not the only side that have to do the work in that span of time. We’ll have to rely on their end as well.
Don’t expect management to understand that though. If there’s one thing you need to take from this, you’ll need to accept that most management level people will not understand nor factor in the work involved. They just want to see it work. Even if the issue stems from their end, it’s still ultimately your issue and your project to lose.
On our end, our team needs to pull off a huge migration, integrate with them and factor in our other existing users so they don’t crash.
So far, we’re covered and just need to finish testing.
Now, we’ll have to worry about their end and in order to make the project successful, we’ll have to pull triple duty to cover the work on their end (though we’re not sure yet as to how this will work out) and on-board their users to use the system.
Well shit…
This event also effectively throws out all my plans and tasks for the next couple weeks and throws a wrench in my Q1 2020 plans.
Like I said. Shit happens. Deal with it.
Hopefully, it works out for the best.
Drop me a DM and say Hi. I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
