Revisiting Your WHY
It’s you’re 5th straight 8am - 5am workday. You’re running on fumes, you’re losing focus, you’re starting to question yourself.
Why am I doing this?
Why should I keep this up?
Why am I practically killing myself?
There are a lot of why’s but it all leads to 1 thing. You have to think of your 1 main goal, your main reason, your WHY. Keep that goal in your sights and finish the job.
We hear “Your Why” alot of times in the entrepreneurial world because a lot of us go through the same things. It sounds cheesy. It’s corny as hell.
But it works.
Sometimes, it’s the only thing that will get us through that sluggish and stressful day. Oftentimes, it’s the reason why you succeed.
You know what? This slog will pass. It’s just a moment type of thing. There will be really stressful stretches.
Once it passes, give yourself a little break to recharge.
In my case, I have my reminders everywhere to enforce my why. Heck, I even set a countdown timer as my screen saver to make sure I don’t waste too much time, because let’s face it, we all get distracted. It keeps me on focus on the goal even if I’m feeling super lazy and tired.
Remember, it’s your life and your goals. To reach it, you need a strong drive. Life will keep throwing shit at us, one roadblock after another and we sometimes wonder why it’s easier for other people. Get those things out of your head. Figure out your own battle.
Do it for your why.
