Integrations
We’ve told our story with the NowServing app to those that would want to know but for the most part, we try to keep it on the down low but today, we have a new integration with Hi-Precision and we’re just super stoked. We are definitely open to doing more integrations to better bring healthcare to more people.
Anyway, I always like to say that everything we do is a work in progress because it will continue to evolve as we learn more things.
When you’re improving your own product, it’s usually between you/your team and your users.
It gets hella tricky when other parties are involved.
Integrations will eventually happen with your SaaS, so from our experiences, I hope this would help.
Be clear with your proposed integration - Assume that the team on the other side is completely new to what you do and what you are offering.
Communicate and do it often - Be open and patient to working through the limitations and finding a common solution that works for both parties and customers.
Make it easy for them - We’re just a small, humble company so this is easier for us. For most companies we deal with “they don’t really need you to survive” but you can show them how it make sense for them to integrate with you, and it doesn’t hurt if you make it easy for them. It’s really a win-win.
I hope these things will help you in your future integrations.
